When the Christmas Season comes, we say “Christ is born! Glorify Him!” It is a time to give thanks for Christ coming to Earth in His mission as the Saviour of each and every one of us who choose to let Him remake us fully back into His Image and Likeness. When we go through each season of the Christian Liturgical Year and remember with love all that God has done by being born, growing up, teaching, calling His Apostles, and even the most blessed days of Great Lent when He died in love for us, we are touched again by His condescension of living here as a man and showing us the way to live so that we may inherit the Kingdom. But the Holy Resurrection is more than these, for it is the Day of Days, the Feast of Feasts, and more correctly the revelation of the Kingdom that we may live in forever in the present tense, in the here and now. Christ is Risen! So we proclaim with each generation of believers.
Heaven is continuous Pascha, continuous Resurrection, continuous revelation of the Mysteries to the fullest extent that we may receive them, and this continuously grows forever. Pascha is eternally dynamic, at peace and yet paradoxically in motion, and we enter it each year but cannot exhaust it or fully understand it, for it is all times, all places, all life, and yet more. May we pass from Death to Life as we enter again into the Bridal Chamber where Christ is arrayed in glory and honour, but with the wounds of love still present on His body. Have a most blessed Paschal Season.
