The time of Holy Week and Pascha, or Easter, is here.  This is the time of great and profound change.  Christ defeats the hopelessness of death when He steps forth to meet great evil with great love, willing sufferings, and sacrifice.  He defeats improper authority, both religious and secular, by shining the Truth before all without pride or untimely demands.  He defeats our confusion and doubt with the visible miracle of His rising in glory before many, many witnesses, both in the past and even in our present days.  He is like us, yet He is more.  He is far above us, yet He is close as our breath.  He is weak, and meek, and quiet before men, but strong, and righteous, and eloquent before Heaven, and His truth sings out with love before all of Creation.  Come, let us enter His Kingdom now, as He opens the doors to Paradise.  All are invited.  Let us go there to meet Him with joy.
